The association LiberAmbiente promotes environmental protection and aims to deal with the environmental issues of the territories of Capaci and surrounding areas. It promotes scientific research and study, monitoring, awareness and control of the healthiness of the area in which we live. It also proposes itself as an interlocutor of public administrations and industrial realities which are not present in the area.
The association intends to reflect on and learn more about the following issues: the purification of waste water from the consortium’s purification plant, the respect for the environment by local businesses such as the cement plant, and promoting awareness of waste disposal in the most hidden parts of our territory, both along the coast and in the hills.
It will seek to involve experts in the sector to illustrate the knowledge and unknowns relating to this practice in order to lay the foundations for a serious project to monitor and safeguard the environment.
